Dogs bring comfort to those in mourning

Keep+Calm+and+Hug+a+DogThe Sandy Hook Elementary massacre has affected most of us in the United States as well as people throughout the world, in one way or another. This is a really great time to hug a dog. Dogs can bring much comfort and piece of mind in times of hurt and need. Their way of showing love has for centuries been uplifting to us humans.

If you don’t have a dog to hug, perhaps you would find comfort in volunteering at a local shelter, or maybe it’s time to adopt?

There are volunteer dogs ready to give hugs to those in need as well. Dog packs in Sandy Hook already spreading their warmth to soothe and comfort those who need it most.
